This series consists of photographs that were owned by Mary Louis Doherty. The subjects of most of the photographs are the children of Doherty's brother John. The photographs are arranged in near-chronological order.

This series contains books written by Barton on topics including concentration camps in the USSR and the 1970 Polish protests. There is a Spanish and French edition for one title.

The documents in this series represent shipping statements in Spanish concerning the American frigate Indiana dated 1806, many “examined by Joseph Johnston.”
